Melissa Hatfield

Melissa has 25 years professional search and leadership experience focused on Private Equity, Venture Capital backed and Fortune 500 companies. In 2019, Melissa founded Boulder Search to solve the strategic needs of growing private equity and venture capital portfolio companies. Prior to Boulder Search, Melissa was a Partner with a global, privately held retained search firm. Her searches included CEO, CFO, Head of M&A / Chief Growth Officer and numerous strategic placements across multi-site healthcare and consumer PE backed companies in addition to financial services. Previously, Melissa was a Managing Director with JPMorgan where she led the recruitment teams and strategies for J.P. Morgan Private Bank and the Commercial Bank for over a decade.

A deep-rooted Illinois native and Chicagoan, Melissa graduated with High Distinction from the University of Illinois at Urbana – Champaign with a Bachelor’s Degree in History. Today, Melissa, her husband Todd and daughter Simone live in Boulder, CO.
